T.S. 1989 Album Review

    AAAAAHHHHHHH!!!! I literally can't form words....

    I've waited a little while to do a review on Taylor Swift's 1989, since I have been too busy listening to it! Her first pop album is a success in my opinion, however I know (and appreciate) that some country Swifties have mixed feelings! All of these songs are still written by T.S. and have a strong message. So here's my review!

Welcome to New York:

Rating: 9

Favorite Line(s): "took our broken hearts, put them in a drawer", "everybody here was someone else before", "the lights are so bright, but they never blind me"

Opinion: One of my favorites! Has amazing lyrics, catchy beat and a definite artsy feel.

Blank Space:

Rating: 10

Favorite Line(s): "so it's gonna be forever, or its gonna go down in flames", "you can tell me when it's over, if high was worth the pain", "you know I love the players, and you love the game", "rose garden filled with thorns", "I get drunk on jealousy", "cause darling I'm a nightmare dressed like a daydream", "it will leave you breathless, or with a nasty scar"

Opinion: I mean, can we just.... Loveeeeeee! Definitely my favorite! Listen to it everyday, 24/7. It's perfect how she's making fun of herself with a hit song! Beautiful lyrics and THE BEST MUSIC VIDEO EVER! I have contributed to half of its views! , and it is literally my Great Gatsby dream life! I see some future outfit inspo!

Style:

Rating: 7

Favorite Line(s): "and I got that red lip, classic thing that you like", " and when we go crashing down, we come back every time"

Opinion: Beat that's kind of similar to popular songs right now. Cute chorus, but other lyrics can be a little out there, if you know what I mean...

Out of the Woods:

Rating: 8

Favorite line(s): "the rest of the world was black and white and we were in screaming color", "two paper airplanes flying"

Opinion: When I first heard it, I hated it, but now it's grown on me. She sounds really different, in a good way. And I adore the rounding!

All You Had to Do Was Stay:

Rating: 8.5

Favorite Line(s): "people like me are gone forever when you say goodbye", "I've been picking up the pieces of a mess you've made"

Opinion: Super catchy and relatable (all you had to do was stay, all day, everyday)

Shake it Off:

Rating: 10

Favorite Line(s): "my ex man bought his new girlfriend, she's like omigod, I'm just gonna shake it"

Opinion: I play sweet or sour with this song in the car and I'm pretty sure most drivers now think I'm crazy! And the music video, I mean, #taylorswifttwerks

I Wish You Would:

Rating: 9.5

Favorite Line(s): "we're crooked love in a straight line down", "cause you still don't know what I never said", "I wish we could go back and remember what we were fighting for", "you give me everything and nothing"

Opinion: Perfect lyrics and amazing vocals!

Bad Blood:

Rating: 10

Favorite Line(s): "what was shining, now it's all rusted", "these battle wounds, they last and they last", "band-aids don't fix bullet holes", "if you live like that, you live with ghosts","baby know we got problems, and I don't think we can solve em'"

Opinion: Another favorite! Catchy and repetitive in the best possible way!

Wildest Dreams:

Rating: 10

Favorite Line(s): "say you'll remember me, standing in nice dress, staring at the sunset", "red lips and rosy cheeks", "say you'll see me again, even if it's just in you're wildest dreams", "he's so bad, but he does it so well", "someday, when you leave me, I bet these memories follow you around"

Opinion: Beautiful and breathtaking! A steamy love song bringing back the Taylor we know and love! Now I just need the whimsical music video(can't you just picture it!)

How You Get The Girl:

Rating: 9

Favorite Line(s): "remind her how it used to be, pictures in frames of kisses on cheeks", "and you were too afraid tell her what you want"

Opinion: A cute love song! Can picture it being played at a wedding!

This Love:

Rating: 9

Favorite Line(s): "this love is alive, back from the dead", "currents sucked you out again, and you were just gone, gone, gone", "silent screams and wildest dreams", "losing grips on sinking ships"

Opinion: Hi old Taylor! Such a beautiful song, with mystical lyrics.

I Know Places:

Rating: 9

Favorite Line(s): "lose lips sink ships all the d-mn time", "they are the hunters, we are the foxes"

Opinion: Probably the most unique song on the album. Very catchy and different!

Clean:

Rating: 8.5

Favorite Line(s): "when the flowers that we'd grown together died of thirst", "you're still all over me like a white-stained dress I can't wear anymore"

Opinion: A vivid song with an interesting beat and chorus.

    Overall, I love the album and am so jealous of anyone who got invited to the pre-release party(my friend did!!) Comment below what you think and go buy 1989 right now!

B&BW & Victoria's Secret Beauty Haul

   Happy Saturday, darlings! Yesterday I did some shopping (it started off browsing) for fragrances and lotions. Although I have wwwwwaaaaayyyyyy too many, the scents just draw me in and BAM! my hands are full! I bought some wonderful goodies from VS & B&BW.

   At Victoria's Secret I picked up the passion struck lotion and body spray.

   I also got the French lavender and honey body cream, the warm vanilla sugar  travel size lotion and the thousand wishes mini perfum from B&BW.

   So that is my haul! Hope you enjoyed and have a great day! Love you all oodles & oodles!

Halloween Spider Cupcakes From Damn Delicious

    Hi guys! Long time no see! My schedule has practically swallowed me, but I am back! Today I wanted to share with you one of the yummiest and cutest Halloween recipes ever... spider cupcakes! As I was surfing Pinterest yesterday, I found the pin and needed to spread the word. All pictures and ideas are by Damn Delicious, go check them out. The author is as sweet as her treats and I love all her recipes.

    All you need to do is bake some normal cupcakes and decorate them with chocolate frosting, edible eyeballs and black licorice (full recipe here). It is the perfect idea for a Halloween party and I know this is what I'll be serving!
